Dr Sarah Bunney
Co-Founder & CEO
Sarah is a technical expert in flood risk management with over 20 years, experience working within the UK water sector both as a practitioner and academic. Her career has been defined by a commitment to collaboration, actively partnering with organisations and communities to develop effective solutions for enhanced flood risk management.
Dr Ari Cooper-Davis
Technical Director
Ari joined Our Rainwater in April 2023 as a Geospatial Data Scientist. He has recently completed his PhD at the University of Exeter, where he developed AI models to help combat sewer overflows - a topic close to his heart as a keen caver and sea swimmer.
Abbi Hall
Marketing Consultant
Abbi joined the team in 2023 after completing her BSc in Marketing & Management. She has a background in brand strategy and graphic design and has worked with or in start ups and independent businesses for over 10 years. She enjoys working with purpose-led organisations and is passionate about creating environmental and social value. In her spare time, you will find her at the gym or watching live music.
Stefan Bogdan
Backend Developer
Stefan brings over a decade of software experience to Our Rainwater, working across Aviation, Telecom and Finance sectors in Romania, Italy and the UK. He believes in using the right tool for the right job and his code is always of the highest standard. Stefan is passionate not only about making systems work, but making so they can scale, evolve and work effectively.
Daniel Jones
Customer Engagement Lead
Daniel completed his BA in Business Economics with a Year in Industry at the University of Liverpool and is eager to use his experience to improve the customer experience. In his free time, Daniel enjoys reading, cooking, hiking and is an avid cinephile.
Luciana Venner
Project Support Officer
Luciana joined the team in November 2025 is currently finalising an Undergraduate Degree at the University of Exeter. She is keen to develop her professional skills at Our Rainwater by supporting the smooth delivery of projects, bringing strong organisational skills and attention to detail to her work. In her free time, Luciana enjoys being an avid shopper, cooking, walking and watching Formula 1.
Laura Gorczyca
Schools Engagement Officer
Laura aids Nick in delivering SuDS engagement workshops for schools as part of our SUDS for schools projects. In her spare time, she enjoy going on runs in nature and having picnics when the weather permits!
Nick Couzens
School Engagement Officer
Nick joined us in 2023 and spent the summer developing a teaching plan and building outdoor activities. Nick has over 20 years teaching experience and runs his own business running holiday clubs and theme days for schools. He loves being outdoors, music (particularly from the 90s), reading and writing dystopian fiction and is a lifelong Portsmouth FC fan.

Dr Peter Melville-Shreeve
Co-Founder & Chief Research and Innovation Officer (CRIO)
Pete is an entrepreneurial engineer with expertise in Smart Cities, Industry 4.0 Applications, Environmental Management, Water Resource Management, and Real-Time Control solutions such as Smart Stormwater Management.
